Enhanced Performance with Innovative Coatings
We have boosted our performance end mills capabilities with advanced coating technologies. Applicable coatings on end mills include: TiN, TiAlN, and DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) in order to enhance their performance. TiN coating provides a hard, wear-resistant surface which decreases friction and improves the end mill's corrosion resistance. For cutting tools, TiAlN coatings are very suitable due to their high resistance to oxidation at elevated speeds and temperatures. DLC coatings have extremely low coefficients of friction and are therefore very useful for machining materials that are difficult to cut, having smooth surface requirements. In the medical device manufacturing industry, parts must have a supremely polished surface and our DLC coated end mills are ideally suited for that.
