Advanced Coating Technology
Our milling cutters are coated with some of the most advanced technologies including TiN, TiAlN, and DLC. The coatings have excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and therefore a TiN coating reduces heat generation during milling. Although TiAlN is not suited for lower speed and temperature applications, it has splendid oxidation resistance which is perfect for high-speed and high-temperature milling. DLC coatings are incomparable for applications where low friction, high wear resistance, smooth surface finish, and optimal wear resistance are required. These DLC coatings, along with others, enhance the performance of the milling cutters while increasing the quality of parts done through milling.
